{mb_sdlf_jugador_SDLF-jugador_frase-destacada}Marcet holds a special day to promote its students’ personal and academic development beyond the football field.
On October 21, Marcet Football University organized the first edition of the 360º Workshops, an initiative to provide its students with a holistic education that complements their sports knowledge with essential life skills. Herminia del Castillo, Head of the Academic Department, says, “Integral education at Marcet involves technical knowledge and the development of social, emotional, and human values.”
With this goal in mind, the day was dedicated to workshops designed to equip young athletes with practical and valuable tools. Without training sessions or academic classes, the participating youth categories were divided into rotating groups to attend the scheduled workshops throughout the day.

The topics covered were cybersecurity, led by the Mossos d’Esquadra team, and road safety, with the Urban Guard collaborating. Additionally, students learned about nutrition, received guidance on using mobile phones and social media properly, and participated in practical workshops on hygiene habits, injury prevention, and first aid. The pedagogical and hands-on approach made the day educational and entertaining for everyone.
One of the standout activities was the “You Are an Athlete 24/7” workshop, which provided insight into maintaining healthy habits off the field. The day concluded with the fun Grand Prix, organized by a team of physical trainers, which challenged students in various physical and skills-based tests.

The success of this special day underscores the importance of comprehensive development at Marcet, aiming not only to produce talented footballers but also to prepare individuals for life’s challenges. The next 360º Workshop day is already in the planning stages to continue strengthening the core values and skills that will help students reach their goals on and off the field.
