{mb_sdlf_jugador_SDLF-jugador_frase-destacada}A group of German students arrives at Marcet to get a close look at the operations of a Spanish sports company with an international vocation.
On April 25th, Marcet Football University received a visit from a group of 22 students from Technische Hochschule Augsburg, a German university based in Bavaria. These young people, mainly from the degree programs of International Management and International Economic Engineering, arrived in Barcelona to study the Catalan capital from a business perspective. Supported by their partner university, Abat Oliba CEU, and accommodated in the SIL residence, the organization of their trip was led by Professor Francesca Angrisano, coordinator of the business Spanish area at the language center of Technische Hochschule Augsburg.
The interest of these students in visiting Marcet Football University lies in understanding how Spanish companies dedicated to the sports sector operate. During their visit, the German students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the heart of this institution, where they were greeted with a detailed talk about its operation. The students raised numerous questions that reflected their interest in understanding the intricacies of sports management.
Once the talk concluded, a guided tour of the Marcet facilities took place, where the guests could get a close look at the spaces where some of the future football talents are trained. The day continued with the observation of real-time training sessions, where the students had the opportunity to closely witness the teaching and training methodology that distinguishes Marcet Football University.
The experience was completed when the students from Technische Hochschule Augsburg went from being spectators to actively participating in a football session, demonstrating their skills on the field and sharing a moment of camaraderie.
The visit of these university students to Marcet Football University highlights the importance of international collaboration in the educational and sports fields. Marcet, increasingly recognized as a benchmark in the management of international student communities, opens its doors to promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences among young people from different parts of the world. This encounter is a testament to how education and sports can bring together people from different cultures and nationalities with a common goal: the integral development of young people through football and education.
