Since its birth in 1978, Marcet has enjoyed a privileged position in the heart of the city of Barcelona. While many other sports institutions have been forced to move or found themselves on the outskirts, the oldest Barcelona school has always opted for the city, its sporting spirit and its good communications.
Already in the 70s, Marcet clearly opted for latest generation artificial grass for its pitches. Today, decades later, this commitment is still valid and has revolutionized soccer around the world. In addition to the fields, Marcet has a swimming pool and a gym for the sports training of its students; as well as two residences, study and food areas. All this around the headquarters and easily accessible by private transport (exit 4 of Ronda Dalt) and public transport.
Marcet has become the largest manager of sports facilities in the Catalan capital, with 16 soccer fields available to all young soccer players.
