{mb_sdlf_jugador_SDLF-jugador_frase-destacada}Luca Villa Valencia recounts his football journey, from his beginnings in Paris to his current position at Stade Lavallois, and shares his aspirations for the future.
Luca began his football career at an early age. “I started football in my city’s club, Courbevoie, at 5 years old. Before joining Marcet, I played 2 years at ACBB and 3 at PSG,” the young player recalls.
His arrival at the Marcet Academy in Barcelona marked a turning point in his career. “During a visit to Camp Nou, my father spoke with a Marcet coach. He proposed a summer camp, which I did the following week,” he explains. This experience led him to stay at the academy for a full year at the age of 12.
Villa Valencia holds fond memories of his time at Marcet. “My experience there was only beautiful memories, like during the Oviedo Cup and the Barça and Dynamo Kyiv matches. And above all, the encounters and friendships I made there.”
After his time at Marcet, he continued his development in France. “After Marcet, I played in Cholet in the National League. From there, Stade Lavallois called me to play in the Honor Division,” Villa Valencia recounts. He is currently in his second year with Stade Lavallois, where he feels comfortable. “I feel very good. There’s a very good level, and I’m happy to play on a professional team because there are very good infrastructures,” he affirms.
Describing himself as a player, he stands out as: “A technical and fast footballer. I can play several positions; I’m versatile. Thanks to my experience in Spain, I can bring a different style of play to my team.”
Villa Valencia comments on his career so far: “I’ve been lucky to play at a higher level each time. I’ve had a different path from the others in my team because I’ve changed clubs and countries a lot.”
He has clear aspirations for the future: “I would like to be a professional in a 1st division within 5 years.” With this goal in mind, the young footballer continues working to achieve his dreams in professional football.
