2nd-year high school students visit a university and attend a masterclass to prepare for their academic future.

Second-year high school students participated in an activity to bring them closer to the university environment. The experience included visiting a local university and a masterclass led by professionals, offering them a practical and inspiring glimpse into the academic life that awaits them.

This activity aims not only to familiarize students with the university atmosphere but also to inspire and prepare them to face the challenges of their future education. The masterclass provided a space to explore topics of academic interest while developing the essential skills needed for their next educational step.

Herminia del Castillo, head of Marcet’s Academic Department, emphasizes the importance of these types of experiences as part of their comprehensive educational model: “We want students not only to learn theory but also to feel actively involved in their learning process, connecting it to what lies ahead in their future.”

Moreover, these initiatives help students envision their academic path more clearly and confidently. The transition to the university world can feel intimidating, but activities like this strengthen students’ preparation and motivation, equipping them with the key tools to face new challenges.

In this way, Marcet reinforces its commitment to offering an education beyond the playing field, fostering a well-rounded preparation for the next stages of its students’ lives.
